Garden centers and plant nurseries sell annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, vegetables and houseplants, along with soil, mulch, fertilizer, pots and tools. Independent nurseries often grow part of their own stock and carry varieties that do well in the local climate, while big-box garden departments compete on price for common plants. Wholesale nurseries and growers sell to landscapers and sometimes to the public at volume prices; tree nurseries sell balled-and-burlapped and container trees and can deliver and plant large specimens. Specialty growers focus on bonsai, cactus and succulents, orchids or native plants, and hydroponics stores sell lights, nutrients and systems for growing indoors.
The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 7 am–4 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (407) 376-8334. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

Orlando is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Orlando is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

We have purchased from Alfonso's Tree Farm and Nursery since 2018. We've purchased pine trees, shrubs and other types of great high quality trees. They go above and beyond to make sure clients get what they are looking for. They are always very communicative, they know their products very well, they have an extended knowledge on all types of trees, shrubs and plants, in addition they will tell you what is good and not to do to do when creating landscape for a residential property. We love to drive by their tree farm just to admire how clean and professional they keep their products. Wishing them 100 more years of success and more business. Thank you guys for everything you do...

I do not understand the bad reviews on here. For the longest time, my wife and I didn't end up checking this place out because of the misleading reviews and I wish I would've ignored the few bad reviews from obviously picky people and came here sooner. They have beautiful plants that are well maintained, the quality far outweighs many other nurseries I have been to and everything is at a very reasonable price. Its also organized as well and easy to find things. I will be coming here from now on. People need to understand what a tree farm is, it is wholesale so their primary business is not from retail so of course they will cater somewhat to their "bread and butter" when it comes and goes. The owner was very nice to my wife and I and also very helpful, they were receiving a shipment at the time and she still managed to help us with a few questions. People need to be more understanding these days. I would recommend this place to anyone and just advise them to pay attention to proper parking and understand if they have shipments coming and going. I can't wait to go back! We bought a large topiary, purple saw grass, banana leaf crotons, Jasmine for ground cover, flax lilies,
